Mandara Spa is one of the seven sponsors for the "Fathers Day — Daddy You’re My Hero" contests in the New Straits Times’ 1klassifieds pullout. The other sponsors for the contest, Bonia, Fella Design, Paco Rabanne, Club Med, Grand Dorset Subang Hotel and Roscani, are also offering prizes. "Fathers, like my own, have been seen working all their lives to earn money for the family. So, basically this prize is for them to have an off day to relax," said Mandara Spa operations manager Rosa Akalynn. "Also, it is to create an awareness and tell the community that spas are not only for youths and women," she added. A presentation ceremony was held at the Mandara Spa, Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel, yesterday when Rosa handed RM1,410 worth of vouchers and hampers to NST 1klassifieds print-ad consultant Maziah Ab Hamid. Those interested in trying to win prizes for their fathers can write a message of not more than 40 words showing their love and appreciation for them. The entry fee is RM10 with additional RM5 for photographs or graphics. The messages can be in English or Bahasa Malaysia. The last day for submission is June 12, by noon. The contest form will be published in the NST or the New Sunday Times from May 23 to June 12.
