Selena Gomez – Selena Gomez Relates To Young Fans

Selena Gomez says she relates to her younger fans more than people her own age.

Selena Gomez can relate to the problems her young fans experience.

The 19-year-old singer-and-actress – who is dating 17-year-old star Justin Bieber – says she shares the same insecurities as her young followers and is happy to be growing up with them.

She said: “I get on better with kids than people my own age. I’m growing up, but they’re growing up with me.

“We all go through the same things, feeling awkward in your body and stuff.”

Selena has faced a backlash from Justin’s fans over their relationships, but she admits she understands what it is like being a young teenager with a celebrity crush.

Asked how she deals with the criticism, she told The Guardian newspaper: “I just focus on everything that’s going on with my fans [instead].

“I thought I was going to marry Jesse McCartney when I was younger – he was my screensaver. And I’ve been obsessed with Shia LaBeouf since I was 15.”

Marg Helgenberger: Justin Bieber was ‘a brat’ on ‘CSI’ set

Justin Bieber “was kind of a brat” when he appeared on ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’.

The 17-year-old superstar made a guest appearance in the drama TV series playing troubled teen Jason McCann, who was shot dead, in the series finale, and according to actress Marg Helgenberger some of his behavior was unacceptable.

Marg – who plays CSI investigator Catherine Willows in the show – claims he locked a producer in a cupboard and ruined a cake.

In an interview with France’s Le Grand Direct Des Medias, She said: “I shouldn’t be saying this but he was kind of a brat.

“He was very nice to me. but he locked one of the producers in a closet and he put his fist through a cake that was on the cast’s table.”

Despite Justin’s misbehavior on set, Marg, 52, insists he is a competent actor – especially for someone with no prior experience.

She said: “Justin Bieber wasn’t bad. He’d never acted before … He’s better than you’d think.”

At the time of his appearance the ‘Baby’ hitmaker said he enjoyed getting into the role, especially when his character came to a dramatic when he was gunned down in a stand-off with police.

He said: “It was really cool because I actually – I get shot, like several times.

“I fall down and there’s fake blood and everything. It’s crazy how the whole process is.”
