Noted and a bit of a let-down as some fans expected he’d announce his candidacy on the program. That would have been impossible, however, because he is the proud father of a political action committee, and the law still doesn’t allow PACmen to run for president.  Colbert, nevertheless, handily, dispensed w ith that challenge.
