In roughly 8 days, the sport’s top pound for pound fighter Manny Pacquiao will step into the ring to take on the undefeated American fighter Tim Bradley. Pacquiao will look to maintain his crown as the top fighter as Bradley tries to pull off the huge upset. According to a Friday June 1st report by BoxingScene.com, Pacquiao appears to be in tremendous shape as he puts the finishing touches on his training camp.Pacquiao started the camp a few months ago amidst concerns from his team due to Manny’s subpar level of conditioning. However, like he typically does, Manny turned up the efforts and tore through his training camp. His level of conditioning has separated him from his opponents and it appears that it could be the deciding factor against Bradley on June 9th.Meanwhile, Bradley is filled with confidence and is not afraid to show it to the world. According to a Friday June 1st report by BoxingScene.com, Bradley made the following comments about Pacquiao: Advertisement “I am the first guy who knows I will win. Other guys said they would win but they just said it and didn’t believe it. They were just there for a check. I can’t wait to get in there and kill this dude.”Bradley’s confidence and physical fighting style should make for a good fight. However, he’s not the first who stepped in the ring thinking of victory over Manny. Juan Manuel Marquez, who just lost to Manny last November, has fought Pacquiao three times in his career and arguably won at least one of their 3 fights. Marquez is the one fighter who most critics feel has the best chance of beating Manny if they were to fight again.Bradley vs. Pacquiao will be live on PPV from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, June 9th. Final press conferences will be held next week. For more on the BoxingScene.com report, click here.
