Nassau Detectives Arrest Local Man For Exposing Himself to a Child

Third Squad detectives said that the alleged incident occurred at a Wal-Mart store located at 1220 Old Country Rd. in Westbury on Sunday, Aug. 21 at 3:26 p.m. According to Nassau County detectives, Lautaro Zambrano, 59, of Port Washington, exposed himself to a 7-year-old girl while inside of Wal-Mart. Detectives said that the victim was in the children’s clothing aisle, with her mother close by, when the defendant began to follow her. The victim ran to her mother, detectives said, who then notified store security. Detectives stated that the defendant was located in the parking lot and detained by store security until police arrival.Police said that Zambrano is being charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Stalking 4th Degree and Public Lewdness.
