NEWPORT, Mich. (WXYZ) – DTE has narrowed down the list of suggestions and is asking for your help to pick the winning names for the bald eagle chicks who hatched this spring at two of its sites.
Hundreds of suggestions were made. The utility has chosen 20 finalists and put them into five groups of four names.
-Amp, Volt, Watt, Ohm;
-Liberty, Justice, Freedom, Courage;
-Spirit, Freedom, Honor, Grace;
-Erie, Superior, Huron, Michigan;
-Kilo, Mega, Giga, Tera — The Watts Family
You have until noon on Friday, July 1, to cast your vote. The winning names will be announced later that day. The people, who first suggested the winning names, will also have their names posted.

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service says the eaglets are part of a healthy breeding population in Wayne and Monroe Counties.
Two of them hatched at Monroe Power Plant and the other two at Fermi 2 Nuclear Plant.
