Johnny Dollar: Obsessed Cyberstalker Or Paid Troll? – NewsHounds

Why is Johnny Dollar (real name: Mark Koldys) obsessed with me and this blog? For at least the third time, he’s got my photo posted on his site. He has two quotes from me on his “about” page and has made God knows how many tweets and other posts about me. He has been stuck on News Hounds pretty much from our beginnings in 2004. We banned him from posting here numerous times but that has not stopped him from poring over every word and semi-colon in the hope of pouncing on any possible misstatement or mistake and then trumpeting us as liars or some other “pet” name.  Did you catch the “Sharia Ellen” part? It’s disturbing enough that, rather than engage in a healthy debate or a principled argument, Dollar/Koldys has to resort to name calling – and making his criticism about me. But how does he justify this awful comment from regular poster Blackflon? It was posted on 3/23/12 and it’s still there as I write this:   By the way, I directly quoted Geraldo Rivera in my posts about his comments on Trayvon Martin wearing a hoodie. It wasn’t I who blamed Martin’s hoodie, it was Rivera who said that the hoodie was ”as much responsible for Trayvon Martin’s death as George Zimmerman was.” But rather than correct the record, Dollar/Koldys defended Blackflon’s comment and attacked News Hounds again. Classy. Johnny Dollar/Koldys also says on his “about” page that he is the source for “the latest cable news developments, exclusive videos, and the truth about Fox News.” So you would think he’d be even more obsessed with Media Matters than with us, right? Wrong. Searching “media matters” on the site shows 863 items found whereas searching “news hounds” returns almost twice as many, 1543.   I’ve repeatedly asked Johnny Dollar whether his fascination with the blog is personal or professional but that seems to be my one utterance he’s determined to ignore.       So just why is Johnny Dollar/Mark Koldys so obsessed with us? What is he trying to hide?  I report, you decide.
