advertisement It appears that Hollywood was able to produce a movie about Drew Peterson faster than his case will get resolved. The Lifetime Network announced its movie about murder suspect Peterson, played by Rob Lowe, will air at 7 p.m. on Jan. 21. A former Bolingbrook police sergeant, Peterson is charged with the murder of his third wife, Kathleen Savio, whose body was found in a waterless bathtub in 2004. His fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, mysteriously vanished in 2007 and has not been found. But Peterson hasn’t been tried yet. He’s been jailed in Will County since 2009 because his case is mired in legal arguments that have gone all the way to the Illinois Supreme Court. Lifetime’s website describes the movie like this: "Based on a true story, the film follows the fascinating tale of police officer Drew Peterson’s fall from grace after the mysterious disappearance of his fourth wife."
