GIVE mothers an early Mothers Day treat at Pulai Springs Resort which is promoting a Mothers Day Eve Buffet Dinner on May 12 between 6.30pm and 10pm. For RM50++ per person guests can enjoy an impressive array of culinary creations including crispy boneless chicken with lemon sauce, poached fish fillet with leek sauce, saffron Turkish rice with sultana, carving station which includes roasted chicken, beef and lamb leg with selection of sauces, mee rebus Johor and an extensive array of mouth-watering desserts. The award-winning Qing Palace Chinese Restaurant is also promoting three sets of Mothers Day menus prepared by Master Chef Lim Meng Chong and his team for the period from May 11 to 14. For RM 398++ per table of six persons in Set Menu 1, guests will be able to try out dishes like the four varieties of cold dish combination, braised dried seafood soup with crab meat, Hong Kong-style steamed cod fish, boneless chicken with dried orange skin, pan-fried prawn ha lok style, Szechuan-style fried noodles, longan with beancurd jelly and free flow of drinks. Set Menus 2 and 3 are priced at RM638++ per table and RM818++ per table respectively. Set Menu 2 will include braised shark’s fin soup with crabmeat, steamed patin fish in Hong Kong Style and pan-fried ha lok with golden dust. Set Menu 2 also comes with two free jugs of fresh juices. Set Menu 3 includes chef’s signature camphor and tea smoked duck, steamed garoupa fish in Hong Kong Style and sautéed prawn with salted egg yolk.
