When officers arrived they noticed a foul odor coming from the vehicle. They forced open the trunk and found the body inside. Mardueno died of multiple gunshot wounds, said officials with the L.A. County coroner's office. Buchanan said police were still trying to track down Mardueno's friends and acquaintances to piece together what might have happened.
